I hope I'm in the right section. I was just wondering what kind of new developments, if any there have been with the club/rec team. I have been following the 'join the team' post, any luck with those issues?

From what it seems, there's going to be a hard time setting up the rec team because everyone that attends the meeting wants to go out and play the weekend after. Considering the transportation issues, the unfamiliarity with Monster, and the number of people that would prefer to play scenario, it doesn't look good for recreation paintball.

I'm still crossing my fingers for a spot on the team next season, but I was just curious how things are panning out.

Oh, and I meant to ask ... considering all the above, can I receive a discount at Monster or does that depend on the status of the team/rec team. I am asking because I plan to have transportation up here in Boston and it will be easier to get there. If I go alone or with a smaller group of rec team/club hopefulls can we receive a discount?

NEU Recreational Paintball will be coming in Fall.

I have worked with the BRC to get free buses bi-monthly for trips to Monster.

The fee to join the rec division would be $50 and that would last for 1 full year.

This fee allows free entry / air at Monster + 10% off everything.

This fee also will gain a rec player access to the club teams sponsorships.

Did smart parts sponsorship get worked out?

If it did, would it cover their new DLX company too?

Hey Guys,
Just an old timer from the NU paintball association days, who just found out that the club is back running again.
I'll have to dig out some of the left overs from the club back in the day.
Have some videos of us against UMass when they had a field and even a promotional video when it was hard to get ppl to join the club.
Couple of questions for you guys.

Since this is now a club sport as opposed to a student organization, are you still putting in a budget every year,
We use to set up a yearly game on the budget and used it to promote the club. We also budgeted money for buses to Friendly Fire and Apache (PNL)

Any questions feel free to shoot me an email
