NCPA Tournament Team Information

Tournament team tryouts will be held on Monday, October 27th at 7pm @ Monster Paintball in Woburn MA. Transportation is available via NU Van. Please contact Coach Greg fullmetaljester@gmail.com to arrange for a ride. Costs for the tryouts are $10 entry/air and $50 per case of paint or 1000 rounds for $30. You are allowed to pool paint, so depending on the number of people your costs will much cheaper.

You will be evaluated on the following skills (not necessarily in this order):

-communication
-gun fighting/snap shooting/off-hand shooting
-ability to slide/dive and play a bunker
-in-game awareness/field control
-attitude and ability to work with a team

If you are asked to join the team, we are looking for a serious commitment. This means attendance at least 1 of 2 practices a week, attendance at required fund-raising activities, payment of dues (approx. $300), time commitment to travel to events. Be expected to work hard and take criticism. You will get access to the team sponsorship package and discounts, which are only available to team members. Rec Team Information

Due to a number of things changing with the BRC and the process of starting student groups, we have had some delays in getting the Rec Club up and running. There is a meeting coming up at the end of the month that will give us full recognition with the school and allow us to schedule the use of coach buses for outings. Once this is in place you can expect an outing in November and possibly December depending on interest. Additional trips will be planned for the spring, at minimum once a month.
